SKY. The Weird Syrian Kid

Duration: 0:35:58 | Channel: Indie Films   Subtitled in English   Syria
Sky is a teenager boy from Homs, Syria, who fled his country because of the war when he was 14 years old. Living alone in the Jordanian border for six months, life was full of challenges. But when everything was falling apart Sky retook his dream: to be a dancer. Between modernism, traditions and violence, ‘SKY. The Weird Syrian Kid’ tries to break through a society that doesn't assess art; as one of the youth who find himself trapped on the aftermath of Arab springs, Sky is unable to understand the reality that surrounds him. In a moment when extremism extends around the globe, the artistic spring continues flourishing in the streets of Amman as the perfect antidote for tolerance, inclusion and resilience.
